Obaseki is an INGRATE – Dan Orbih
By Ben Ogbemudia
The member representing Oredo Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Mr. Omoregie Ogbeide Ihama on Tuesday said he has decided to remain quiet and not to go low to Governor Godwin Obaseki shenanigans in Edo state Peoples Democratic Party.
Ogbeide Ihama who spoke to ThisNigeria via telephone said he was already at the seating of the House and that both the National and state Publicity Secretaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had spoken on the issue hence no need for him to speak further.
“My brother, the Governor doesn’t know what he is doing, at the right time we will talk but for now , I will not go low to Obaseki shenanigans in Edo state.
Though the National Vice Chairman, South-South of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Chief Dan Orbih also refused to speak on his purported suspension and ratification at the state leave where Governor Godwin Obaseki said he will not tolerate opposition within the party, simply said that the Governor and his Deputy are ingrate.
“I am too busy now to engage Obaseki in a non-issue. When the time is ripe, I will address him. The Party leadership in state and National have addressed that, anything they are doing is just a nullity”. He said.
On Monday at an enlarged meeting of the leaders of PDP held in Benin City ratified the suspension of the member representing Oredo Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama, the State Secretary of the party, Hilary Otsu, the Oredo LGA Chairman of the party, Oduwa Igbinosun, and the Chairman of Oredo Ward Four, Mr Friday Enaruna.
